090905 Rafting trip to the American River

White water rapids on the Middle Fork. Water is release from a dam each day from 8-11AM, so we had an early start time. Indoctrination occurs quickly into the run at the first class 3 rapid, "Good Morning", providing a good soaking by frigid water that makes you appreciate the sunshine as you turn a bend. Our boat, boat 4, managed to complete the run unscathed, unlike our friends on boat 3 which saw its riders swim several times... good times. The experience was a blast, must get the rest of the family to try this...
