Davina goes off to science camp today

UPDATE - I included some pictures of the camp grounds below. More interesting is the tree walking that they have to undergo.


Davina's first independent venture, three Winter nights into the Santa Cruz mountains with her school mates. This should be quite the culture shock, no telephones, no television, no radio, no electronics, period. We are proud that she's taking her first big girl steps, but miss her terribly.

Oh yeah, also 4 minute cold showers and no hair dryers (she's been practicing this at home)... hahaha, can't wait to hear how the real survival goes. Mommy is taking this the hardest, making us write multiple birthday cards in case the first one she sent doesn't arrive in time.
