090907 Labor Day BBQ in Fremont

What's Labor Day without a BBQ? Met some old friends we have not seen in a while at a park in Fremont for food and relaxation. Little kids played baseball (how American and apple pie is that?) Big kids made strange shapes with their bodies... then we went to the driving range. Good times!

090905 Rafting trip to the American River

White water rapids on the Middle Fork. Water is release from a dam each day from 8-11AM, so we had an early start time. Indoctrination occurs quickly into the run at the first class 3 rapid, "Good Morning", providing a good soaking by frigid water that makes you appreciate the sunshine as you turn a bend. Our boat, boat 4, managed to complete the run unscathed, unlike our friends on boat 3 which saw its riders swim several times... good times. The experience was a blast, must get the rest of the family to try this...

Friday 8/28 Giants over Rockies (2-0)

Great night for a ball game, especially in the Legends Club box, compliments of a business partner. Lincicum brought his A-Game, eventually leading to a three game sweep of the Rockies... sweet!

090815 mommy and daddy's date night

Once in a while, mommy and daddy get an opportunity to go out on the town. In this case, dinner and yogurt. What is the hub hub about Pinkberry? Honestly, outside of the premium pricing... the yogurt was OK. That's right, it was just ok, not Earth shattering, (gasp!).

May and Harry's Maui Wedding

Lest I should forget, May and Harry tied the knot in May (no pun intended). Everyone who attended reportedly had great fun, great food, and were witnesses to a beautiful sunset ceremony on the beach... guitar serenade, young wahine dancer, and some punk running in the background... perfect!

Hawaii 2009

Aloha... So we went back to Hawaii in April, this time with the Kim family... as usual lots of sun and fun, maybe even a bit of burn. Loco moco and some shaved ice sounds good right about now! Below are some lagoon pictures from the Marriott's property in Ko'Olina, Oahu, HI.
